Note to Self.

Fame is not success.. Fame is nothing but a open door to consumers. It’s what you do with it that will decide how successful you are. What is your product? How can you monetize this attention? Most people don’t know what to give the people.. so in desperation, they give themselves, anything to try an keep the attention. The key is to have something to sell that has no expiration date. Knowledge. Emotion. Game. Something people will forever seek. Something they admire on a deeper level. Connection.

Why is art worth so much? 

Because it’s monumental.

It stands for something. It can never be replaced. It can never be imitated. 

Because of that, it’s worth is greater.

Sell something you can forever stand by, and be a living piece of art. Speak to the people with actions. Pave the way for others that are searching for answers you’ve stumbled upon. Open the door. Encourage the questions people are ashamed to ask, or things they can’t admit they’re concerned about. Welcome the uncomfortable honesty.

The same way you had looked for that path in your journey, light candles for those following you. Friendly reminders that you’ve been there, walked that path, and though it is lonely, they aren’t alone.

It’s not always easy, but it is worth it.
